Self represented appeal (Preston VIC)

Postby George_74 » December 12th, 2011, 2:13 pm

I attended Court recently and self-represented, it was my first offence of drink driving, I had a reading of 0.08% full license and the Magistrate although having a choice not to, imposed 6 months with an interlock. Can I appeal this?

Yes, the law as stated in the Road Safety Act (Vic) allows you to appeal.
You do, however, need to lodge your appeal within 28 days of receiving your outcome.
