First offence Perth

I was stopped for speeding on Sat night. The breath test showed my BAC to be much higher than permissible. I have never even had a speeding ticket before this. I hadnt had a drink before driving but had a few drinks in the afternoon which is what led to the reading.My wife was a passenger and was as surprised as me and the police. I was taken to the police station and a form was filled out after another breath test and I was told that I will get a summons, will need to go to court and my license will be suspended for 3 months. What exactly is the worst implication, financial and otherwise and what are my options if any ?
