Drink driving

Postby Worried90 » October 25th, 2014, 7:50 am

The father of my child had been caught drink driving for the 3rd time.
He blew high range this time. He was driving on a licence that had a drinking restriction on it for 10 years so has also been charged with that.
Is he likely to go to jail? I am currently going through courts regarding our daughter because his drinking scares me for her.
Previously he has got fines, drink driving courses & a suspended sentence.
Thanks for any advice.
I am hoping he gets something to wake him up this time.

Hi Worried90,

Let me first ask you, what state has he been charged in?

Hi Worried90,

Unfortunately as the laws differ from state to state, I cannot give you any advice in relation to his matter.

You should contact the Law Society of Tasmania for a recommendation to a criminal and traffic solicitor who can assist you.
