Drink driver on way to bottle shop: police
Posted: October 25th, 2011, 10:39 amA woman caught drink driving was more than five times over the legal limit and was on her way to a bottle shop when she was pulled over on the NSW mid north coast, police say.
About 8.15pm (AEDT) on Saturday, police say they saw a car swerving all over the road at Taree without any headlights on.
Police pulled the car over and a 58-year-old woman driver returned a positive breath test that was more than five times over the legal limit.
She was allegedly on her way to a bottle shop at Taree when she was stopped.
She was charged with high range drink driving and will appear in Taree Local Court on November 22.
